System Requirements

Software
You do not need to have the software you are trying to learn installed on your computer.  Since our program uses simulations, you only need to login to learn.



Access 24 hours a day?
Yes, all TrainingCenter.com customers have access to the courses 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  Login to learn, anytime you want.


New Account Activation
You can place your order online anytime.  You will receive a login ID, via email, immediately after you sign up.
Next, we will call you to verify your contact information.  After we speak to you by phone, we will activate your account, and you will be able to login.  New accounts are activated every hour Monday through Saturday 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Eastern Time. If you sign up after our normal business hours, your account will be activated the morning of the next business day.


 
Bookmarking
Our bookmarking feature is activated when you hit the exit button to leave a course.  The next time you log into that same course, it takes you to the page that you were last working on.



Review specific topics:
Our easy-to-use navigation system allows you to scroll back and forward within each course, or use the course index to select a specific topics within the course.



Can I get certified taking online courses?
It is not possible to get certified by taking online courses.  Our courses are designed to help people gain the knowledge they need to pass the certification exams.  To take a certification exam, you must find testing center in your area, and physically go to that location to take the certification test



Testing included:
Courses include testing in two ways.
1. Students are presented with information and then prompted to answer questions throughout each course.  These
    questions engage the student and facilitate subject mastery.  

2. All courses also have an optional Skill Assessment modules.
   Each course includes a 30 question Skill Assessment, which evaluates your knowledge of the course material.  the Skill
   Assessment, accessed through the Tools button in the course, may be taken prior to, during, or taking the actual
   course.  Scores are tracked by unit and include initial, current, and best scores.  Scores are available to the student
   immediately.  Based on the scores received, students can skip topics in which they demonstrate proficiency, thus
   reducing training time.  The Skill assessment modules can be used for pre- or post testing.



License agreement: Only one person may use a login ID
It is not legal to allow other people to access the training courses that you paid for.  Our courses are already an incredible value.  Therefore, we require that each user pays for the courses they take.  If you share the courses, you will be violating our license agreement.

Free online manager reports
Manager login ID's are available upon request for groups of 5 or more.  A manager I.D. allows you to view student progress and run various reports to see how students are scoring, what courses have been completed, and who has accessed.

What are certificates of completion?
When you sign up, your name is entered into our system.  Throughout each training course, questions are presented to you to help reinforce what you are learning.  If you answer the course questions with 70% or better accuracy, then you will have the option to print a certificate of completion, with your name on it.  To get full credit for a course, you must answer every "Think about It" question.  You get credit for completing a unit when you answer every question in that unit.  the course is completed when you have answered all questions in each unit.  Click here for more details.



What are the benefits of having certificates of completion?
Benefits include being able to show that you have successfully completed courseware in a specific subject area, the ability to apply for CEUs with various educational institutions, potential for reimbursement through employer if applicable, etc.  Certificates of completion are your proof that you have knowledge in certain areas.  Collect your certificates and keep them as part of your education portfolio or list them on your resume.



How do I print a certificate of completion?

You may print a certificate of completion by clicking on the [Certificate] button from the "Scores page", which will be visible whenever you complete a course and answer the course questions with 70% or higher accuracy.



How to improve my scores?

Once you have completed a unit, go back and re-answer every question in that unit.  If you answer more questions correctly, an improved score for that unit will be recorded.

 


What if I can't get the courses to load on my computer?
There are several things your can try.  Refresh your browser, check your internet settings to allow for cookies, check your internet connection to see if it's working properly, reboot your pc, etc.  you may also call 800-223-3732 or email technicalsupport@mindleaders.com.



What if nothing happens after I login:
After entering my User ID and Password at the "Course Login" page, I click the "Sign On" button, but nothing happens.  What should I do?
This appears to be a browser configuration issue.  It is necessary for active scripting to be enabled in Internet Explorer.  Also, ensure "Run ActiveX Scripts" is enabled.  after making the necessary changes, reload the page or restart the browser to apply the changes.



Why do I have to login again after I click [Done]
After clicking the "Done" button to answer a question while taking a course, I was taken back to the "course Login" page.  Why?

When you click the "Done" button, you end the training session.  You must start each training session,  by going to
http://www.trainingcenter.com/login
Note: The questions will not work if the "Course Login" page is bypassed.



Will I receive anything in the mail?

No.  After you sign up online, you will receive an email that contains your payment receipt and login ID.
There are no CD's to load and no books to read.
